    Yes, we deliver worldwide.

    The shipping cost will depend on the weight of your total purchase and your location. This will be communicated to you after your order has been received and confirmed by us, and prior to you being invoiced.

  • Why do the prices of ostrich leather handbags vary so much?

    Prices of ostrich products vary depending on how many variants of the leather are used on the bag – for instance full quill, leg skin, shin skin or smooth skin.

    Each type of leather has a different value. For example, if a bag is made from full quill leather it will lead to a higher cost than if the bag is made from only shin skin.

  • Should I be concerned if a new ostrich leather product has small lines or blemishes on the surface?

    No, ostrich leather is a 100% natural product. Although we use the highest grade ostrich leather, our ostriches roam freely and the markings on the leather are proof of the leather’s natural condition.

    These are thus not regarded as defects, but rather markings of authenticity.

    A defect is characterised as a hole, scar, scratch or blemish from a healed wound or bacterial damage.

  • Are the photos displayed on this website exactly what I’ll receive when I order?

    The photos display the type and style of the items, but where items are available in different colours, obviously it will depend on which colour product you order.

  • Are the ostriches free-roaming?

    Our ostriches are all farm-reared and free-roaming.

  • How can I care for my ostrich leather item?

  • I recently read about the bird flu epidemic on ostrich farms. Does this have any effect on your products?

    The bird flu epidemic does not affect the leather, feather or egg shell products in any way. The virus cannot be spread via the ostrich product and do not affect humans in any way.

  • Do you have any other boutiques in South Africa?

    No, our boutique is exclusive to Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo district of South Africa
